Reservation Request Process

Sending a reservation request does not immediately confirm a booking. ChaniaCar reviews each request, checks availability, and replies by email.

  • The customer selects dates, times, vehicle, and contact details, then sends a reservation request.
  • ChaniaCar reviews the request and confirms only if the selected vehicle remains available.
  • The customer receives an acknowledgement email first, then a confirmation or unavailability email after review.
  • Rates include unlimited kilometre / mileage allowance unless otherwise stated in the final confirmed terms.

Payment at Pickup

No online deposit is required in the active public request flow. Payment is arranged locally at pickup after ChaniaCar confirms the request.

  • The confirmed total price is shown in the confirmation email and reservation details.
  • Local payment methods are arranged with ChaniaCar at pickup.
  • Fuel, fines, late returns, or other local charges may be handled separately according to the rental terms.

Pricing and Local Charges

  • Prices and terms are subject to change until the request is reviewed and confirmed.
  • One-way rentals are allowed only between specific stations and may include an extra charge.
  • Out-of-hours service between 22:00 and 07:00 is available with an extra charge of EUR 40.
  • Late returns may incur an additional charge.
  • Fuel is paid by the client and the vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as collected.

Cancellation and Changes

Please contact ChaniaCar as soon as possible if your plans change. Changes and cancellations are handled according to the final confirmed reservation terms.
